Central University (CU) Architecture Admiision/Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements for Architecture

Admission into the programme is open to SSSCE/WASSCE or Polytechnic graduates with any background; Science, Vocational, Visual Arts, Technical and General Arts.

  • Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE): 6 passes with aggregate 24 or better and including 3 core subjects. English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science. All passes should be grade D or better.
  • West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE): 6 passes with aggregate 36 or better and including 3 core subjects. English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science .All passes should be grade C6 or better.
  • Polytechnic Students: Passes in English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or any of the Elective Science subjects, in addition to 3 electives in the respective trades or technical subjects.

Any application that comes without the above named qualifications will however be evaluated on its own merits.         Applicants are to note that should the total number of qualified candidates exceed the Department’s allotted         vacancies, a selection interview will be conducted for shortlisted candidates.
