Who should attend this course and why?
The course should be attended by non-instrument personnel requiring a basic introduction to instrumentation.
No prior knowledge of instrumentation principles is required.
This course provides a general introduction to some of the principles, hardware and techniques used in process measurement and control.
To give non-instrument personnel a practical understanding of instrumentation.
At the end of the course you will be able to recognise and understand:
- The operation of various pressure elements / instruments.
- The operation of various level measurement techniques / instruments.
- The operation of various flow and temperature measurement techniques.
- The operation of various control valves, trims and their uses.
