| Program Description: | WPI offers several types of awards. Merit scholarships are available for freshman applicants based on academic performance and extracurricular involvement. WPI also offers a limited number of need-based scholarships. These awards typically range from $5,000 to $25,000. Awards will not exceed the cost of tuition. International students are able to work on campus or complete cooperative education programs to help contribute financially to their education. | |

Award Information
Eligibility Requirements
| Requirements 1: | All applicants who apply by February 1 are considered for a possible merit scholarship if admitted. No separate merit scholarship application is required. |
| Requirements 2: | Applicants for admission who wish to be considered for need-based International Scholarships must submit the CSS Profile at the time that they apply for admission. |
| Requirements 3: | Applicants who are non-native English speakers must submit TOEFL, or IELTS, or PTE scores to prove English language proficiency. |
